Desert Night Camo Predator Ghillie™ Helmet Cover

Desert Night Camo Predator Ghillie™ Helmet Cover

The Beez Combat Systems Predator Ghillie™ Helmet Cover is available in a wide variety of colors including Desert Night Camo. This camouflage pattern is a unique pattern in that it was developed by the United States in the early 1980’s and adopted only for a brief time period during the Gulf War. Between 1990 and 1991 Desert Night Camo was developed with the sole purpose of disrupting Soviet night vision. The grid pattern was originally intended to interfere with the devices generated grid tracking systems for targeting.

During that time the technology for night vision was primitive allowing the creative design of the Desert Night Camo for use among top tier personnel during special operations. These were the days of advancement in infrared concealment technology. Desert Night Camo is the first camouflage pattern to be developed to specifically target artificial imaging technology. Desert Night Camo is also the first camouflage pattern developed to be solely used during night operations.

Desert Night Camo was greatly utilized by special forces during both Desert Storm and Desert Shield however, with the development of various infrared and thermal treatments Desert Night Camo was eventually replaced. That’s not to say that this unique camouflage pattern hasn’t remained popular.

Now you can purchase Desert Night Camo for your Beez Combat Systems Predator Ghillie™ Helmet Cover. The Predator Ghillie™ Helmet Cover provides the most advanced concealment technology for one of the 21st century’s most advanced camouflage patterns.
