This is the OCP colored 8x10 with G-hook 3cell front flap, grid shoulder pad, radio/coms wing and mini T-bag.
Quality is top notch, all laser cut and good heavy duty threading. I'm 5'7" 140lbs and it covers my vitals while still being extremely lightweight (depending on what plates you get). Ltc makes 8x10 swimmer cut WITH multicurve, level4 plated and they are amazing. I can shoulder my weapon with ease, I can stick my arms out in front of me and cross them without the plate hindering my movement.
I could probably get away with another inch in length but, man I am really happy with how this has all turned out. Big shout out to Beez, great company, great product, great customers service!
Sleak, lightweight, minimalist design i dig it! Best in the game as a made in the USA product if you ask me. I’m 5’6 135lbs pure bone and muscle running Great Lakes curved 8x10 ceramic level 3+ sapi plates. I don’t think it’s made to support the inner Aptum pads but the shoulder pads works. This does have a little room to fit a thin set of trauma pads if you know what you’re doing. I’d recommend the Tacticon 8x10 trauma pads. Shipping takes a minute because of the manufacturing process, but it’s definitely worth the wait. Heck yeah Beez! Thanks!
I was pretty surprised to get my carrier well under lead time. Very happy with it so far. Even with thick plates everything closes up. All I need now is shoulder pads, a better cummerbund and some yoga mat between the plates. If you're smol like me this is a good option outside of custom work. Thank you BCS team.
The Aptum 810 plate carrier works well for the 8x10 shooter's cut plates I'm running with it. I also included 3A soft armor (as required) and the carrier accommodates them well. Fit is pretty darn snug, which is expected (and preferred).
My only complaints are with the cut of the shoulder pads. They're pretty close, making it difficult to "slip" the carrier over my head, instead of undoing the Velcro to put the carrier on. Also the "cut" of the shoulder pads - the material is pretty sharp and will scratch up your neck unless you're wearing a turtle neck OR install shoulder pads. Maybe better cut/stitching along the shoulder pads could alleviate that.
One "wish I could have": Velcro strips on the inside of the carrier so I can run the plate carrier ventilated pads. I may try to do that myself with adhesive, unsure.
Overall, 7.5/10 for the price.
Awesome plate carrier for my 8x10 plates. Ended up fitting my 10 year old son perfectly! Looks great in MC Arid. Fast turnaround time, about 2 weeks for my order. Excellent quality.
There's not a lot of 8x10 Plate Carrier options. This one is perfect and very minimalist. With the Shot Stop plates, I can wear this all day, comfortably with a light jacket to cover. Looks great in MC Arid. Excellent quality and pretty quick turn around time from order to my door. Two weeks or less. Thanks!!
Got this for my son who is 5’7 and 140. Traditional 10x12 carriers were too cumbersome and would not fit right. This carrier and plate combo is what he needed.
