Customer photo review of Saiga 12/Vepr 12/LYNX 12/Panzer Arms AR12 Chest Rig

Shotgun mags are awkward to carry, but this rig makes it so much easier. My M12AK mags fit well in it, and pulling them out is easy. I'm trying to optimize this chest rig to be the general use shotgun rig, so the current pouches on it are random, but I think I will it as my dedicated shotgun rig.

I normally prefer split rigs. Ordered this one with the extra wide straps and dangler bag. Fits the Genesis Gen12 10-rnd mags really well w/o obstructing buttstock placement. Very comfortable with heavy loads. Would have preferred 4 mag pockets instead of 3; that way i could convert a pocket on either edge into a pistol carry site and ditch the belt. Easy to carry 2 spare pistol mags, knife, tourniquet and add a dump pouch. I use the dangler bag to stash 8-rnd elastic loop strips of shotgun ammo for topping off mags. Very high quality. Wish the extra wide padded straps came with the buckles and gliders - had to rummage theu my molle cemetery to recycle stuff. Only reason it’s not 5 stars!

Saiga 12/Vepr 12/LYNX 12/Panzer Arms AR12 Chest Rig

I have a Panzer Arms AR12 and bought their Panzer Arms 10 round magazines for it. When I saw that you made a Chest Rig for 10 round shotgun magazines I had to give it a try. This rig works perfect with my magazines. I love this rig. I would highly recommend your rig to all who have shotgun magazines and want an easy way to carry them to the range.

Wish the h harness wasn’t as wide, made with quality materials and care in it’s construction I do recommend this if you are looking for a shotgun chestrig.

Great purchase. Many times when ordering items online the final product is not what you the seller portrayed. This item met all expectations. I will definitely trust this site for future purchases.

Saiga 12/Vepr 12/LYNX 12 Chest Rig

Fantastic Chest rig for running saiga mags. I used it today at my local 3 gun match with my KS12 and it was comfortable to wear all day with three fully loaded magazines. The SGM magazines are a little fiddly to get in there because of the ribs on the sides but I mostly run CSSPECS magazines so it was a non issue for me (any of the SDS or factory KS12 mags would almost certainly be fine too but I didn't have any on hand to test). I just wish that the velcro straps that go over the tops of the magazines had an extended pull tab on them to pull them up while wearing gloves. Since if you have the velcro down flush it is a little difficult to grip the edge to clear the next magazine. Nothing that cant be stitched on later but it would be nice to have. You can also just remove the straps because unless you are upside down even a full ten rounder isn't going to bounce out.

It will work fine. The only thing I can complain about is the belt strap is too short. is must of been cut for a damn small waist not for a 38"waist with kit on .
