Just got my hands on the three-cell rig and had to share how clean this setup is. I’m running bulky Bulgarian steel AK mags and they fit beautifully—no rattle, no fight, just smooth retention. Honestly, I kinda wish I’d gone with the five-cell version, but even this compact one nails the balance between function and form.
This is hands down the only modern chest rig on the market that fully accommodates AK shooters without turning into a tangled mess of straps. The layout is intuitive and minimal—nothing flapping, no mystery pouches. Everything is exactly where it should be.
I stripped the shotgun shells off the MOLLE (in the front) and now I’m using Velcro-backed shell cards on the bottom rear panel, you can either get horizontal shell bards or three vertical shell cards that are easy to rip off and ready to re-load, clean and fast….It’s modular. The middle compartment has room for soft armor or whatever flat essentials you want—field notes, maps, ID, meds. Tons of MOLLE real estate up front too if you want to scale it up.
For real-world use or even just hard LARPing, this thing is built AK-first. Most chest rigs out there are AR-focused, but this one was clearly designed by people who know the platform. It’s rugged, intelligently laid out, and the construction feels bombproof.

This rig is the best I’ve come across! It feels and looks very high quality. Allows for great adjustment. I’m 5’9 at 150 lbs for reference. It fits my Ak magazines that are two 10 rounders connected at the base with RJK ventures base plates, which makes them slightly taller than 30 rounders. Being from California, it’s all that I’m currently allowed but that’s why you see the freedom seeds up top. It comes with enough Molle up front 15 molle slots to attached a canteen pouch, general purpose pouch, and a radio pouch that allows for the radio and ear pro to fit inside. The T-Bag is awesome as well! It has enough storage to fit multi tools, flash light, and other accessories or spare ammo boxes with ease! The padded harness is so comfortable even with all this weight in me I can hardly feel it on my shoulders!! I can’t express enough how important it is to feel as comfortable for long periods of use. Then we have the amazing kangaroo pouch for the Ak mags that allows 3 more to fit. So all in all I got 6 mags across the rig and 3 in the kangaroo pouch. It also comes with two Molle attachment pounds on the inside of the chest rig for another magazine pouch or radio pouches to allow for more space up front if that is what your needing! Don’t waste your money on other rigs, get one of these bad boys and have ZERO regrets!
I love the updates. The multicam webbing is a nice touch along with the inside Molle attachments for radio ect. I went with the standard H harness for my first Beez chest rig so I decided to spice it up with the padded one this go around, I’m glad I did! I like both padded and unpadded so I’m thankful Y’all included the standard harness also, it never hurts to have a backup! My old Chest rig from Beez circa 2012 or 2013 if memory serves me correctly is still going strong with zero issues. Like I said before it never hurts to have a backup and Beez always delivers!
holds exactly what you need and nothing you don't. Best ak rig on the market. You can tell BCS listened to the end user on this, accommodates most modern aftermarket or BCS danglers via small section of velcro along back. Massive internal GP pocket. Good amount of MOLLE real estate on the front for any pouches you may want to add. fear not when ordering because BCS uses genuine multicam cordura and now uses multicam webbing as well. This thing weighs close to nothing before adding magazines and pouches. I'll never be going back to the chicom again. They estimate 1-6 weeks lead time from order to ship, however I received mine (4mag multicam) in Under 2. Keep up the good work BCS. First piece of kit I've ordered from them and I'll definitely be back for more.
Fits literally any 30 or even 40 round AK mag without any issue. The cell width is perfect for holding a pistol and the bungee length is easily adjustable. The velcro kangaroo pouch is fantastic for maps, GPS, spare rounds, or anything else that will fit. The BCS AK chest rig is the last one I'll ever need to buy
I'm very impressed with the durability and quality of my 5 cell chest rig. It fits any kind of AK mag from bulgarian polymer, surplus steel, bakelite, pmags, and I have even loosened the bungee straps to fit 40 round mags in there. I've had mine for several years and it has been a very reliable platform to mount any kind of molle pouch you could possibly fit in there.
If you tighten one of the bungee straps it turns one of the cells into a very effective pistol chest holster. I have a few other pieces of kit from beez and I absolutely love them, the designs are very well thought out. I cannot say enough good things about beez!
The chest rig is even more amazing then I thought it would be. It fits perfect even with body armor on. Beez is my go-to for chest rigs. I own several. They never disappoint. They are highly adaptable (+/- plate carrier) and very robust. The price is better than you would expect.
Have not had the chest rig long, but am so far impressed. It’s Very well made and seems to be durable enough to take a beating. It’s low profile makes movement easy and lets you keep a full range of motion when you’re running around.
Would like the back velcro to cover more of the back of the rig to attach side wings, or should have gotta the 6 mag version to have more molle attachments. Overall awesome chest rig and can recommend getting. Feels comfortable and works great so far
