The Beez Combat Systems Backpack Short is a compact, low-profile hydration and utility pack designed for operators who need minimal bulk with expanded carrying capacity. Engineered to integrate seamlessly with plate carriers and armor systems, it provides a streamlined solution for hydration and essential gear storage without compromising mobility or comfort.
This pack is compatible with a range of hydration systems, including the Source M.C. 3L, Hydrapak Force DSL 3L (100oz), and CamelBak Mil-Spec Antidote™ and Crux™ reservoirs, supporting bladder sizes up to 100oz. It can also be used as a lightweight standalone backpack for mission-adaptable load carriage.
Built around the GRIDLOK™ attachment system, the Backpack Short securely mounts to any MOLLE/PALS-compatible platform using four reinforced attachment points. A laser-cut front GRID panel provides additional modular mounting options for gear customization.
A secure 4-inch hook-and-loop top flap keeps contents stable while allowing flexible hydration tube routing to either side. An external ID panel allows for unit or identification markers, and integrated laser-cut drain holes improve moisture management in harsh environments.

Great product. Well made. Definitely the best and thinnest carrier for the source hydration Short MC 3.0L. It fits perfectly on the back of my JPC 2.0. Also Perfectly fits under the Crye zipper back panels which was a huge Plus. The only reason for 4 Stars instead of 5 is no pull tab for the Velcro. The Velcro they use is super strong which is good but I wish I had a pull tab. I did that myself so it's not a deal breaker. Shipping was faster than expected. I will buy from Beez again.
Made in USA! Excellent workmanship/stitching. Edges of material are aligned and mate nicely. I love the laser-cut molle on the front for attaching additional pouches. Thank you Beez!
Really like this hydration pouch. If you need a wider / shorter hydration pouch you can easily molle to a plate carrier, this works. Good quality, doesn’t push my battle belt down, makes it easier for vehicle activities.
Two points. I added a 1-inch "pull tab" to the flap to make it easier to open - especially when wearing gloves. I also covered some of the velcro on the inside of the flap so that it opened with less noise. Otherwise, I am completely satisfied.
Perfect size for source 3L widepack low profile bladder. Quality and stitching is great and the gridlock straps are secure and effortless to attach the pack with. I use it with a backpack on top and it feels 10x better than having a regular bladder inside of a backpack. Wouldnt hesitate to buy again and this will be my go to recommendation for anyone looking for a hydration bladder pack with molle attachment.
This carrier is very well made, and well thought out. My only suggested improvement is that the loop that holds up the bladder was made for the Camelback Antidote reservoir, which now has a different catch on it. The current loop and catch do not go together, so an adaptation has to be made to make this work, which is not very hard. Overall, great product.
Beez Hydration Backpack Short. Durable, high quality, American made. I love the laser-cut MOLLE system. Locks in great and lays flat against my plate carrier. The additional laser-cuts on the front of the hydration pack are a nice touch in case you want to attach another small pouch or something. I am using the Camelback Mil Spec Crux 3L Short reservoir and the fit is perfect.
I knew it would be well-made but I was a little nervous that the edges wouldn't be as tight against the carrier as I wanted. However, my worries were un-warranted as it fits very well and very tight against the back of my carrier. This is a great product and far better made than I imagined. Well done.
Only gripe is my bladder folds a little and I wish it had maybe a second opening for the tube. Other than that it does the job. If you’ve never worn armor in the sun and you’re thinking I have a Nalgene I’m good. You’re wrong.
So far so good! Holds my 100oz crux hydration bladder well, and fits the carrier great. Will be doing a review on this product on my Instagram @Lrrperator comparing it to other hydration carriers on the market, and seeing where it stands. Can definitely recommend Beez as a reliable company, and the quality of their products shows their love for what they do.
