The Predator Ghillie™ Cobra Lite V2 represents the next evolution in wearable concealment systems.
Driven by years of feedback from end users frustrated with the limitations of traditional Cobra and Viper hoods, we set out to reimagine the concept from the ground up. The result is a purpose-built concealment platform designed around the realities of modern warfare—lightweight, durable, breathable, and highly adaptable to the individual operator.
Weighing just over one pound, including the supplied Predator Ghillie™ Dreads, the Cobra Lite builds upon the proven success of the Predator Ghillie™ ecosystem. At its core is our advanced laser-cut ghillie architecture, engineered to create dynamic movement and three-dimensional outline disruption that traditional concealment systems simply cannot replicate.
Unlike conventional scrim-net-based designs, every component of the Cobra Lite is purpose-engineered for the specific shape and function of the area it conceals. The outline of a head, torso, weapon platform, and pack are all fundamentally different—and effective concealment should reflect that. The Cobra Lite is designed around this philosophy, providing optimized concealment where it matters most.
Constructed from rugged 500D Cordura®, the Cobra Lite delivers exceptional durability while maintaining a lightweight, hydrophobic design suitable for harsh operational environments. The dynamic movement of the Predator Ghillie™ system eliminates the need for fragile mesh panels and elastic materials commonly found in traditional hoods, resulting in improved durability and superior breathability.
Rather than relying on heavy stitched 550-cord grids, the Cobra Lite incorporates three laser-cut hexagonal laminate panels that provide a stable and lightweight attachment platform for natural vegetation, jute, and additional concealment materials. This innovative design supports a wider range of attachment angles while reducing weight and bulk, creating an agile concealment system capable of withstanding demanding field use.
Included with every Cobra Lite are more than 40 Predator Ghillie™ Dreads, allowing users to tailor their concealment to specific terrain and environmental conditions. The dreads can be routed through the integrated attachment slots or secured directly to the laminate panels to create custom three-dimensional texture and outline disruption.
The hood is specifically engineered for use with modern combat helmets and has been carefully tailored to move naturally with the wearer without restricting mobility or interfering with mission-critical equipment. Multiple adjustment points throughout the hood, collar, and torso allow the Cobra Lite to be fitted securely over a wide range of fighting loads and equipment configurations.
The contoured torso design maintains access to chest-mounted equipment, magazines, radios, and other load-bearing gear while preserving concealment and freedom of movement.
Available in 13 camouflage patterns and colorways, the Cobra Lite can be configured to virtually any operational environment. When blending in matters most, standing out should never be an option.
Infrared Signature Considerations
MultiCam™, A-TACS™, and M81 Woodland fabric options utilize materials designed to reduce near-infrared (NIR) signature concerns. While these patterns are manufactured with NIR performance in mind, we cannot verify the infrared performance of every color and pattern option offered.
